LABOR DAY WEEKEND
A look at our Labor Day Weekend spent at home in Columbia, SC.
Growing up, Labor Day Weekend was always a vacation to the beach or a trip to visit cousins and aunts. As we’ve gotten older, there is no place we would rather be than to be home in Columbia with our parents. Never would we have thought that we’d miss living at home since moving out on our own, but there is something so calming and serene about coming back and having a few laughs with mom and dad for a few days and retiring at night to sleep in your childhood bedroom.
Overall, we had a fantastic weekend as expected. One of the many things that our parents are good at is hosting a great party. Whether it be a bridal shower, super bowl party, or just a cookout for fun, our home is always the place that everyone wants to be. Our weekend consisted of lazy hours by the pool until night fall, and our dad showing us how it’s done on the grill with his super juicy cheeseburgers.
Take a peek at our flavorful weekend spent in Columbia:
These floaties I purchased from Urban Outfitters four years ago are still a hit at every pool party. Shop here for more spectacular pool toys.
Our dad’s famous cheeseburgers. We can never get tired of grubbing on these!
Our mom has the cutest kitchenware for any party or occasion.
Hands everywhere for the guacamole and pure peanut oil cooked fries.
Aya’s quick dilemma was solved by splitting her cheeseburger in half: Pimento cheese on one side and guacamole on the other.
