DIY HOLIDAY SHOES
Everyone needs a sparkle on their favorite pair of holiday shoes.

To be quite honest, this DIY holiday shoe tutorial served an alternate purpose and was not at all planned. If you follow me on any social media, you probably saw that my first Halloween of 2016 was spent dressed up as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. As I tried to assemble my costume back in October, I ran into a shoe dilemma. I wanted to purchase the perfect pair of sparkly red shoes, but could never come around to justify spending so much money on a costume that I prided myself on for being so affordable. Even when I found alternatives at a slightly cheaper price, I always questioned the amount of comfort (or discomfort) that I would have experienced the night of Halloween. That is when I decided to make my own perfect pair of sparkly red shoes.
I have ranted and raved about my favorite white pumps by Charles David. They match perfectly with everything and just so happen to be the most comfortable pair of shoes I own. When I spotted them at Nordstrom Rack for $18, I bought them once again and used them for this shoe tutorial. When I was done, I not only ended up with the most complimented part of my Halloween costume, but also with the perfect pair of holiday shoes.
