Modernizing and mimicking an avant-garde art movement on a simple t-shirt dress.

Our weekends in Charlotte are spent attending events and exploring town visiting our favorite places, and we love to keep comfortable yet chic wherever the day takes us. Since spring has finally sprung, I got to pull out this vintage t-shirt dress (and by vintage I mean I bought it about 5 years ago) with my staple moto jacket and favorite accessories. The t-shirt dress is a total phenomenon this year, and it’s a simple yet basic piece to style a versatile amount of ways. It was the ideal ensemble for a breezy yet playful day adventuring around the city.
I love infusing my wardrobe with a bold, colorful palette, which is why this t-shirt dress caught my eye. It reminded me of a present-day variation of Picasso’s iconic style of art, cubism, but with a modernized twist. I instantly bought it because it could easily be a statement on its own.
