BEST DRESSED: 2012 GOLDEN GLOBE AWARDS

We made our list short and sweet. Our best dressed from the Golden Globes.

I’m not going to lie. I wasn’t very impressed with dress choices on the red carpet for the 69th annual Golden Globes. I was expecting much more eccentric and elaborating choices, like we saw last year. Natalie, Angelina, and Mila were a little bit lacking in the gown department in my opinion,
but I did rack up a few favorites!

A2F Best Dressed: Claire Danes in J.Mendel
Claire Danes in J.Mendel does not do the dress any justice. The waist, shoulders, and back frame are shown encrusted in jewels, but on television it was glistening 10x more! Black and white is just so timeless and this was such a great choice for her.

A2F Best Dressed: Nicole Richie in Julien Macdonald

Although Nicole Richie was only a presenter, she rocked the red carpet in this sleek and shimmering silver Julien Macdonald gown. Her retro-chic hairstyle would definitely have to be my favorite of the night.

A2F Best Dressed: Jessica Alba in Gucci

Jessica Alba in Gucci was subtle and sweet. This lavender gown complimented Jessica’s skin tone SO well. She looked perfect in this dress.

A2F Best Dressed: Kate Beckinsale in Roberto Cavalli

Kate Beckinsale in Roberto Cavalli is another one of those photos that does not do the dress any justice. All eyes were on Kate on the red carpet and it’s obvious why. She looks absolutely stunning in this dress as it showed off her perfect figure with some amazing Lorraine Shwartz jewels.

A2F Best Dressed: Heidi Klum in Calvin Klein
Heidi Klum in Calvin Klein. This color looks so great on Heidi and the necklace she paired it with was such a unique choice. My one wish was for her to have done something different with her hair to make the whole look come together. Overall, an A-!
