WARBY HOME TRY-ON COLLABORATION

I was so thrilled when I was contacted by the amazing Warby Parker to cooperate in their Home Try-On Program.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with Warby Parker, it is an elite eyewear brand that offers sunglasses and prescription glasses without the super hefty price tag, but offers incredibly chic and on trend styles for the rebellious chick or the fashion-forward one. There are several styles you can choose from to purchase, or if you’re interested – get in touch with them and participate in their try-on program.

So here’s how it works: you get FIVE sunglasses, FIVE days, for FREE. That’s right. You have over a dozen sunglasses to choose from that are offered in the home try-on and all you have to do is pick your favorites that match your style, or you get the opportunity to go wild and try styles that you would never generally purchase. That’s the beauty about this program, you can pick those John Lennon look-alike style sunglasses that you would never pay a cent for, but to try on it’s absolutely FREE!

The five sunglasses I chose were a mix of eclectic, hipster, and very chic:

{styles from top to bottom: Reilly, Batten, Banks, Bates, and Ellison}

Out of the five sunglasses I received, I had three favorites: two styles that I generally gravitate towards that are two different types of frames with tortoise detail, and one that I really decided to have fun with.

I’m never one to take a “selfie,” but I couldn’t resist with these fabulous frames as
 every morning on my way to work. These were my three favorites from my try-on package:

The Ellison – I loved these because they were white tortoise mixed with an olive tone, two really intricate colors for this Fall. Some people say that white sunglasses are only for the spring/summertime, but I beg to differ, especially because these were intertwined with such a cool Fall color. The professional term for the finish on this style is called “marbled sandstone.”

The Reilly – These were probably my favorite shades that I ordered. They are totally my style- being a natural tortoise shell with a neutral background that can go with my favorite leopard print scarf, or anything in my closet for that matter. They went grade with a muted outfit or with pops of color.

The Bates – OK, so we these shades these were my big opportunity to step out and do a frame that I generally don’t go with when purchasing a pair of sunglasses. I channeled the 60s vibe with these John Lennon inspired sunglasses. To achieve this look, all you have to have is a smaller, more round pair of frames that feel too small on your face. Although it’s a style I don’t think I can rock, I did get several compliments on these!

If you want to cooperate in their Try-On program to find the right shades that fit your personality, be sure to visit their website to become eligible for their program! I encourage you all to go out there check out this fabulous program, and tell them I sent you.
