GW HOLIDAY POP-UP SHOP

Thrifting. A concept that only applied to me when it came to tacky Christmas sweaters.

When I was asked by scoopcharlotte to participate in an upcoming concept store by Goodwill, I’m not going to lie, I was a little very hesitant. I kept thinking “I never go to Goodwill to buy anything… how am I going to do a photo shoot for them?”, but I went against my initial thoughts & decided to see what it was all about. The moment I walked into the re-imagined store called GW in the EpiCentre, I was in complete shock. The inside of the store looked like a local boutique that was decked out in designer clothes, jewelry, handbags, and furniture, but not at designer or boutique prices. I started to look around realizing that I was instantly drawn to a pair of calf-hair shoes and a leopard print scarf that were designed by Michael Kors & Vince Camuto. These were brands that I was so used to buying already, but the price for the pair of shoes at the mall was the same amount of the entire outfit at GW. Every photo below are pieces from GW (all purses, accessories, scarves, etc.) and are for sale right now until December 6, 2015 on the second floor in the Epicentre. (PS: they also have a candy bar & a hipster Santa… so I mean, that adds on to the list of reasons why you should get up and go).

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 11am – 7pm

Thursday, Friday, Saturday: 10am – 10pm

Sunday: 11am – 5pm
