NYE is the perfect occasion for you to Rent the Runway
I believe in the art of the glitz and the glam on the eve of the New Year. I mean, you’ve got to look bangin’ to send the year out with a bang, and what better way than to sparkle like a disco ball on one of the only nights that it’s almost required to do so? Growing up in a small town, it was a challenge to find unique pieces that no one else was going to have because everyone shops at the same malls and the same boutiques. It’s almost like winning the lottery if you buy a NYE dress you like, then wear it, and then find out that no one else wore it when you’re browsing through Facebook and Instagram the morning after. Well, you don’t really have to worry about it this year if you finally take that leap to RENT THE RUNWAY.
I’ve always been a huge fan and advocate for this website. It is an easy way to find that one-of-a-kind designer dress without having to invest so much money in it, because they let you rent big name brands for over half the price. No one wants to buy a formal dress anymore, so this website is perfect because you get your one shot to wear it and your thirty-something shots of you posing in it. In addition to looking hot, the best part is that you never have to wear it again and worry about overlapping on your Instagram feed trying to figure out if you should post an outfit of something you’ve already worn
(as girls, we are all guilty of this).
I am always inspired by street style looks filled with sequins and embellishment, and always try to make my own rendition in incorporating these combinations into my own wardrobe. For an occasion like NYE, you really want to make a statement. If you’re not really sure how to, here’s some help:
