HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY

I know it’s super cheesy, but I love Valentine’s Day. Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t go all out for it, but it’s nice to feel special and take a day to show others how much you love them.  Valentine’s Day has another special meaning for me… as it is the same day that I decided to start talking to H back before we got married.  He had been very persistent for a while before then, but Valentine’s Day was the first day of our long story. Yesterday was not the first time we’ve spent the holiday together, but it was our first as a married couple.  It honestly didn’t consist of much.  I came back from the Smokey Mountains (follow along my adventures on snapchat @alwaysdania or instagram @always.dania) and wasn’t able to make it home til late at night.  H and I got into our pajamas and watched the People Vs. OJ Simpson and made some popcorn.  It wasn’t anything big, but it meant everything to me.  It’s nice to know that through life’s changes, some things stay the same.
