CHAMPAGNE SHIMMER

Ever since we left the 90’s era, I’ve always opted out for shimmer.  Matte is always my go-to, but why not bring a cool iced look back for summer?

 I rarely ever use eye shadow.  Eye liner was always at the top of my priority list when it came to make up, and only as of recently did I begin to pair my nude lips with a smoky eye.  My sister gifted me Urban Decay’s Naked Smoky Eye Palette last year and now when I do use eye shadow, I seldom use anything else. A few weeks ago I figured that I would attempt to try a subtle but different look to brighten up my eyes for summer, so I resorted back to teenage me (remember that ice blue eye liner?!) and went for a shimmery champagne with a pink tint.  I paired matte ‘Combust’ as the base and topped it with shimmer ‘High’ then added a mix of two NYX liquid suede shades (‘Soft Spoken’ & ‘Tea & Cookies’) to complete the look. I loved the attention it drew to my eyes & my fabulous lashes.

A lot of you have been contacting me about my lashes through social media.  I get them done at The Beauty Loft here in Charlotte, and they are amazing! I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to go back to how they were before.
