When you’re walkin’ the NYC streets, you gotta look chic.
My short-term home, my old stomping grounds… the lovely city of New York. For me, packing for a trip to NYC is somewhat easy in that I always feel like I have to look my best for the city that never sleeps because I can’t help but feel a wave of fierceness through my bones every time I’m visiting. For my first day on the streets, I wanted to go for a rocker-chic look with my cool wrapped woven shirt skirt. I based my whole outfit around this special piece, and voila, it was magic… (I think). After the what seemed like thousands of miles we walked, I still was comfortable in my ensemble. I felt “in” with the crowds and all over again, it felt like home to me.
