KINGS DRIVE FARMERS MARKET AND SALAD
A morning spent at one of my favorite stops in Charlotte before lunch.
I’ve always been a lover of the Farmer’s Market. When I was younger, my uncle used to always take me to buy the freshest produce for my family right before dinner time. After my uncle passed away, I made it a point to go to the Farmer’s Market every chance that I got. One of my favorite things to do in Charleston was spend the afternoon at the Farmer’s Market on Marion Square where I would grab some of my favorite groceries from local farmers. After I moved to Charlotte, I always had it on my bucket list to check out some the local stops (there are a couple, by the way!) and this one particular afternoon I decided to grab some vegetables to make a summer chopped salad for lunch. If you’re ever in Charlotte in the summertime, you should try and stop by. They have home made pies, local honey, boiled peanuts, greenhouses, and some of the most beautiful flower bouquets I ever laid eyes on.
Being a flower connoisseur, my heart fluttered when I saw these gorgeous bouquets for just five $5!
I absolutely love local honey. They always help with my allergies.
