If you’re looking to vacation during the month of December, the ideal place for anyone travel would be to a resort destination. This has been my mantra for quite sometime now, only because being in the presence of a tropical scene is essential for someone who has been enduring the dreadful climate that is the cold. Dania has recently told me that seasonal depression was a real thing, and I feel like I had a bit of the ‘itis these last few months. So when I was offered to take a trip to the majestic islands of Turks and Caicos, I knew I couldn’t pass up such an offer.
I was inspired by Dania’s spontaneous trip to the exact islands this summer (see here), and so I figured the best way to do this was to also be a little spontaneous. I booked my ticket four days prior and was quickly ready to jet-set. All it took was a simple two-hour flight and there I was above the beautiful landscape that is Turks and Caicos.
She really didn’t fabricate the fact that it was the clearest and most beautiful beach she’s ever seen. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I stepped out onto the pristine white sands and into the translucent waters. Not to mention, it’s the softest sand I’ve ever stepped into which was a super sumptuous feeling in between my toes every time. The sweet silence of the shore was unforgettable and unlike any other beach I’ve been to.
The four days I spent on the islands were so refreshing and helped me relax and rejuvenate. Although it was short, it was definitely sweet. I can say without a doubt I will be back to visit again in the future.
