WHAT TO PACK FOR A BACHELORETTE WEEKEND

We’re pretty much pros by now.

This weekend, I embark on a journey to get to a city of flashing lights and festive fun with my closest friends.

I cannot believe my bachelorette weekend has finally arrived.  Although the day I say ‘I do’ is several months away from now, Dania meticulously planned-out April as the ideal month to celebrate. What better time to go on a gals weekend than at the start of spring?

Packing for a bachelorette trip (or any trip for that matter) can be pretty tough. However, after several years of experience under our belts, we’ve been preparing what we’re wearing for weeks and feel like we have a good sense of what’s essential for a weekend of fabulous fun.

The three focal points of what we believe is crucial for a bachelorette weekend?

Swimwear. Sequins. and Statement Pieces.

Looking good ’round the clock isn’t so hard after all. We’ve found some oh-so stylish bathing suits and beachwear that’ll keep you daytime chic during as you get your vitamin D dosage. Light and airy cover-ups, breezy sun hats and sassy slip-ons are the perfect pieces to pack in your straw tote as you head out for a dip or two.

Nothing says bachelorette party like sequins and embellishments do. Besides NYE or a birthday party, some ladies think this is one of the only times sparkles are appropriate (for me, it’s all the time). Every dress that we’ve got packed in our bags has some shimmer and shine to it. You’ll get all the stares every time you step out in sequins!

Keeping it chic and comfortable is a mantra for a bachelorette weekend, so we opted for statement shoes that still give us enough cushion for our steps to feel seamless. Compact yet cunning clutches are always a no-brainer, because you don’t want to have to carry extra baggage as you bounce from place to place. All you’ll need is just enough room for your cards, cash, lipstick and cell phone. If you’re opting for more monochromatic looks as you’re out on the town, we recommend packing a couple of statement necklaces to add that extra va-va-voom. Oh, and a highlighter palette because, you’ve gotta have a killer face on to complete your looks!
