AYA’S BRIDAL REGISTRY MUST HAVES

A shopping list of home goods in preparation for my transition from bachelorette to bride.

Wedding planning has been tough for me. There have been a lot of ups and downs, and keeping up with a full-time job whilst planning for the biggest event of my life hasn’t been the most seamless task. So, after a lot of blood, sweat, tears and countless hours of pulling my sleeves up to prepare for such a grand event, I’m excited to start planning the fun parts.

I never dreamt of what I would put on my bridal registry, but one thing’s for sure: I love shopping for home goods. My shopping destination of choice for plush pillows, fancy table linen, gizmos and kitchen gadgets are at places like Crate & Barrel and discounted retailers like Home Goods and TJ MAXX. I love the aesthetic that these places have created, and find myself lost in paradise pondering around these destinations.

I haven’t necessarily planned a theme for the future home of my fiancé and I, but anything that creates a glimmer in my eye is the one that catches it. Mixed metals, lustrous marbles and rich fabrics are just a list of polished pieces I’ve been coveting for our place of residence.
