2017 HALLOWEEN COSTUMES
Our {extremely} last minute Halloween costumes…
Halloween this year was quite different than the previous years, as us sisters spent our favorite holiday separately in different cities. While Dania celebrated in Columbia passing out candy to the neighborhood kids, I remained in Charlotte and attended a fun themed party uptown. One thing that we had in common was that we both improvised on costumes at the eleventh hour and resorted to pulling things out of our very own closets while still transforming into character by hair products and vibrant makeup palettes.

Dania opted to create a fantasy-inspired look by dressing up as a unicorn. Wearing garments from her own closet, she bought a cost-friendly horn and pair of ears to top her head off while spraying jewel-tones in her hair. Powdered by scintillating highlighter and popped with a vibrant lip, her face captured the full look of this mystical creature.

If she doesn’t scare you, no evil thing will! This costume was effortlessly achieved by a spotted Michael Kors faux fur coat I pulled out of my closet and a simple LBD. Dania lent me her DIY red sparkly pumps that she wore last year on Halloween (see here), and then I made a quick run to Party City to grab the last pair of satin red gloves along with a faux pipe. I decided to think fast by using dry shampoo and baby powder on one side of my hair, with a pop of my favorite red at the pout to completely transform into this iconic character.
