A QUICK GETAWAY TO WASHINGTON, D.C.

A last minute escapade to the nation’s capital.

My husband had the spectacular idea of going out of town last weekend, and up until three hours before we left, he decided that we should take a trip to Washington, D.C. Not a short trip by any means, we had a fun road trip trekking 6 hours up North to get to the nation’s capital. We wanted to go somewhere fresh and different for us, since it had been about 15 years since the both of us went. To say that this trip was on a whim is a complete understatement, but sometimes the best trips are the most unexpected right?
