A chunky sweater in neutral tones makes an ideal staple.

Lofty turtlenecks are perfect for two things: keeping warm and staying comfortable. When you style an oversized pullover, it’s an effortless feeling because you simply add your favorite pants and pair of shoes without the hassle of choosing accessories.

Dania layered a neutral turtleneck over lightly-hued blush boyfriend jeans, and stepped it up with sleek suede pumps, while crystallized earrings, a nude lip and pink sunnies acted as the accessories, This muted ensemble emulates a traditional way of styling a transitional look seamlessly.

For seasonal transitions, it’s all about the overpiece.

I went for a statement jacket that exudes springtime vibes in a color that’s right on-trend for the season. Groundbreaking florals offer a spring-savvy look (always) and finding a jacket, sweater or trench coat with ornate details like embroidery, punchy prints and embellishments can instantly create a spring-forward look.

To keep warm I styled it with a rib turtleneck underneath – neutral layering pieces can always keep an ensemble simple yet just right. Dark wash jeans and two-tone boots are the ideal mix for transitioning, and I added crisp white sunnies, statement earrings and a red lip for a bold accent.
