THE ULTIMATE TRADER JOE’S SNACK BOARD
If you want to make snacks, but can’t decide on what to make… here you go.
So as you could probably already tell, we are obsessed with Trader Joe’s. For the first time in our lives, TJ isn’t 20 minutes away from us and is rather right down the road, making all of our grocery shopping dreams come true. We like to stay in on Friday nights, and last Friday was no exception. I decided to call up my girlfriends and host a Girl’s Night In while Hamzeh was out of town (parrrrrr-tayyy).
Now the tricky part of girl’s night in is that it usually happens after dinner and at a time where the food situation is kind of weird. Let’s be real… we all get a little snacksy after 9 PM, so I decided to create the ultimate snack board filled with some of my favorite Trader Joe’s things. Why WOULDN’T everybody like exactly what I like? I have superb taste.
The secret to this snack board is to literally put everything you love on plate. Very similar to the cheeseboard I made a few months ago, the messier you make it, the better it looks. Now don’t let this post fool you, you could definitely find all of these things not at Trader Joe’s, so go for it and make it your own. I just figured since I bought everything from there (& didn’t realize it til the end) that I would go ahead and let you know, you could make the same exact thing if you shop there.
Alright let’s start at the beginning. Make a list of things you love under the categories of:
and then add a dip or two. This gives you the opportunity to cater to everyone’s palette based on what they are in the mood for.
+ rainbow carrots & celery
+ T+J sour candy
+ red grapes
+ Lacy’s dark chocolate cookies
+ blue cheese & pecan dip
+ fig crackers
+ Cracker assortment
+ Kettle cooked salt and vinegar chips
+ Persian cucumbers
+ dark chocolate pretzels
+ sharp cheddar and parmesan cheese
+ salted nuts
+ cheese manakish (see how to make here)
