BEST DRESSED: 2018 MET GALA

The best dressed choices from the 2018 MET Gala.

Creating a best dressed list for the 2018 MET Gala was so easy this year. Unlike other years, (see here and here), almost every single person who hit the red carpet came dressed in superb manner. My biggest pet peeve is when celebrities stray away from the theme, but to my surprise, most of the men and women were very much in line with the extravagance of Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination.

What I expected on the carpet? Fashion through catholicism – Lots of deep reds, beading, crosses, and exquisite gowns by Dolce & Gabbana, Versace and Valentino. My predictions came in pretty close to what actually occurred – and it was so hard to narrow down this selection of favorites. I could have easily put every single person on this list.
