PASTEL POPS OUTFIT

Bringing out the pastel pops for spring. 

A two-piece outfit in pastel pops (or any sort of color pops) is always the way to my heart. If you know me, you know that i’m obsessed with bright hues. They completely dominate my wardrobe… especially in the summertime. This pastel-inspired pair is one that i’ll be wearing on repeat this season thanks to all of the optimal ways I can style it. The great thing about pieces that are infused in decorative color is that you can accent it with any solid. Whether it’s a cardigan, pair of pumps or even a great lip. 

I think my love for a great spectrum of colors really reflect in my accessories. My patchwork striped Stoney Clover Lane clutch (which I customized myself) is what I chose to pair the look with. Also, I added my most glittering sandals that I purchased from a market in Istanbul a few years back. The attention these sandals get are serious. I’m pretty sure it’s because you’re guaranteed to find nothing like them in the USA. However, those didn’t stop me from also wearing a pair of my most obnoxious Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses and Nars’ ‘Heat Wave’ lipstick. (I keep this shade on repeat summer after summer). 

Moral of the story? More is more this season. If you really want to stand-out (I personally adore compliments, especially when it comes to my personal style), then go big on your accessories. Even when your outfit is already a statement itself. Nothing really has to match anymore, so why not have some fun?
