GOOD DEEDS FRIDAY
Jump start your Friday by completing our list of good deeds.
It’s the second Friday that we’re compiling a list of feel-good tasks for you to complete by the weekend! Last week, we launched our series of Friday good deeds due to the spirit of Ramadan. We’re doing this with the hopes to purify humankind, from one reader to another reader. Did you put a smile on someone’s face last week? And did it make you feel good? Or, have you not jumped in on this wonderful opportunity yet? It’s not too late guys – you can check things off from today’s list as well as our list from the previous Friday here.
It doesn’t take much time or effort to make yourself or someone else feel good. Whether you want to brighten a stranger’s day or feel all warm and fuzzy inside yourself, we challenge you to commit at least three out of these seven acts this weekend. Personally, I’m guilty of having road rage during traffic when going to and from work every week, so something as simple as letting fellow drivers merge into my lane was extremely freeing for me. How easy is it to hold a door for someone? SO easy. I did that about 20 times this past week. These deeds range from small to large, so it’s completely seamless to tackle them on. And you’ll find yourself taking baby steps, then transitioning to giant leaps.
Surrounding yourself with kind people will help you check things off this list. Or, be the bigger and better person and turn someone’s grumpy frown upside down. You never know what people are going through, so this in-depth list that we’re offering can change someone’s perception on life. It’s the power of positive thinking, people! Keep exuding that light and energy, and eventually it will spread onto others.
Don’t forget about our original list of goals for the month of Ramadan here.
