WHAT WE BUY AT TRADER JOE’S

A compiled list of all of our faves from Trader Joe’s.

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that I LIVE for two grocery stores: PUBLIX & TRADER JOES. (Cue in: ULTIMATE TRADER JOES SNACK BOARD) Seriously though, what can you not buy from those two stores? They literally have everything.

Trader Joes has been a favorite of mine especially because I’m ALL ABOUT experimenting with different kinds of foods- and that place is home to Blue Cheese pecan dip and large Inca style Peruvian corn nuts. What they have in store is always changing which is awesome and terrible all at the same time. Terrible when some of our favorites suddenly disappear, but awesome because we have now become experts on everything we need when we stop in there.  If you’re a newbie, don’t have Trader Joe’s near you, or simply feel overwhelmed with all of the options, you came to the right place.  Our Trader Joe’s list is consistently growing (at a rapid rate may I add), but here are some of the things that we keep going back for more.

Churro Bites

Do you like churros? I die over them. The second I saw these churro bites it was like they were so delicious that the next time I went into Trader Joe’s I never saw them again. THAT’S HOW GOOD THEY ARE. Everyone saw them and bought them. I’m convinced. Think French Toast cereal, except better.

White Cheddar Corn Puffs

One of the reasons I love these corn puffs so much is because I’m actually addicted to Pirates Booty. This is pretty much them without the hefty price tag.

Cookie Butter

This is the cheaper dupe to Lotus Biscoff cookie spread. Which I can eat out of the jar… and they also have one swirled with chocolate. Enough said.

Oatmeal Cranberry Dunkers

Do you remember the oatmeal cranberry cookie recipe we posted not too long ago? That was because these were out of stock at our local Trader Joe’s and we had to improvise.

Cracker Assortment

Four different kinds of crackers each with the perfect balance of flavor. And PERFECT for the ultimate cheese plate.

Roasted Gorgonzola Crisps

Do you ever get sick and tired of the Cheez-It flavors? I DO. Cue in: GORGONZOLA FLAVOR. I ate the whole box in one sitting once. (OK, twice)

Coconut Strips

These are Aya’s go-to snack. She literally buys them every single time she’s in the store and will not stop ranting and raving about the sweetness and texture. She’ll convert you to a coconut lover if you’re not one already.

Mexican Style Roasted Corn with Cotija

So do you know Mexican style street corn? That’s what this is. WITH the cotija cheese, and you would never expect that it came from a frozen bag.

Unexpected Cheddar Cheese

There’s something special about this unexpected cheddar cheese. It’s extra sharp with hints of parmesan, and it’s absolutely addicting.

Frozen Croissants

The trick to these croissants is that you have to proof them over night (AKA leave them on the counter the night before- bake in the morning). They come in two flavors: chocolate and almond. 100% a Starbucks croissant competitor.

Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice

I do my hardest to stay away from juices unless they are freshly squeezed because of the copious amounts of sugar. THIS orange juice has the perfect pulp ratio, and is freshly squeezed.

Blueberry Goat cheese

First time I tried this blueberry goat cheese log, it was on my friend’s cheese board. OH MY GOSH it’s amazing. It’s a log of cheese rolled in syrup-y blueberries. If you’re into sweet and salty this is the one for you.

Just Mango slices

Last, but certainly not least. My first Trader Joe’s love, Just Mango slices are your typical dried mango slices but they aren’t doused in sugar… which means they are literally sliced and let out in the sun to dry.
