RAMADAN BARS
The perfect Ramadan treat that will take you all the way into Eid.
My idea of a great dessert consists of lots of fudgy chocolate, cookies, and ice cream. However, I finally found a sweet treat that is equal parts healthy and satisfying, and it happens to consist of the most vital fresh fruit that any Muslim consumes during Ramadan – DATES. Prior to indulging into your iftar feast, you should begin by eating three dates. This is a rule that I don’t follow because unfortunately, I am not too fond of dates. Nevertheless, I found the perfect way to implement these dried fruits into your fast. What better way than to mix them into a plethora of other healthy but delicious ingredients? In fact, this natural sweetener takes the substitute of that addicting thing called sugar that we all love.
Just the right amount of sweet without the guilt, all of the ingredients are super yummy and totally healthy. As a result, you will find yourself eating these nonstop once you take them out of the freezer. In addition, make sure to sprinkle matcha powder at the end for an extra kick. And, it’s a total game changer! They are incredibly easy to make and in fact, you’ll love having these in hand for all three days of Eid celebrations.
