FRIENDSGIVING RECIPES
We used Friendsgiving as a trial run for recipes.
We LOVE Friendsgiving. After all of our friends parted in college, it was the perfect excuse to find each other again through life’s ups and downs. It’s always been such a special event to us because it brought us all together while also enjoying food. This year we decided to be a little more low-key because we are having such a huge Thanksgiving, and instead used it as a way to experiment with recipes. We usually go with what we know (see our go-to Mac & Cheese or pecan pie), but we swapped those out for buffalo mac & cheese, and Asian style green beans. We tried two different versions of sweet potatoes, turned our vegetables into salads, and indulged in a Middle Eastern stuffed chicken with almonds and cranberry rice. Here’s a collection of some of our favorite recipes from Friendsgiving.
