BOUGIE BEACH LOOKS

Beach looks shouldn’t ever be boring – they should be BOUGIE – as in extra as hell. This is my motto every time I head to a tropical location. Our current favorite trends to rock as the rays shine? Bright hues like neon, 90s-inspired metallic scrunchies, fabulous slides, and accessories to boot. I’m talking large-and-in-charge statement earrings, arm parties upon arm parties, and vibrant sunglasses that are brighter than your future. These outfit elements will ensure total bougie vibes. Moreover, you’ll get a few nods from on-lookers (a cute Canadian couple wouldn’t stop complimenting me about all of the flamboyant pieces I wore on my recent vacation!)

Even something as simple as layered necklaces or buzzing neon barrettes can add eye-catching touches to your swim ensembles.

My personal favorite part of dressing up when sinking my feet into the sand: a colorful stacked arm party. Holding a piña colada in hand will be SO much sweeter with bits and baubles crawling up your forearm.
