What to wear on our team’s game day.

Panthers game day is something serious for us and our family. I’ve been going to the games since I was just 12 years old. My dad, brother and I would travel from Columbia, South Carolina to Charlotte, North Carolina to see our Panthers play. We’ve been huge fans for decades now, and missing a home game is like missing a religious holiday. Dania even made a Panthers-themed milkshake that was a hit for the 2015 Superbowl season here. From September to January of every year, it’s always Sunday Funday in our households. Bleeding black and blue is a literal understatement!

Going to the games for all this time, I’ve made sure that my Panthers gear is always up-to-date. However, I’ve kept classics in my closet like my cousin’s hand-me-down XXL sweatshirt that I wear every winter season, to the new moisture-wicking pieces that are perfect for a 95 degree game day. I’m also a huge fan of wearing all of the Carolina-inspired accessories, too. So my head gear, jewelry game and purse game is all taken super seriously on game day.

 

 

 

 

 

The official NFL shop always has traditional favorites, but shopping local to me is more fun. Local boutiques and stores in Charlotte always curate their Panthers assortment with witty screenprints and direct shout-outs to our players, which is super relatable. All in all, my personal assortment is large (and growing), so I’m always looking for the most exciting and comfortable black and blue pieces in football season… or not! It helps more than ever now that I’m just a few steps away from the legendary Bank of America stadium itself!
