SPRING 2016 MAKE UP TRENDS
Our favorite make up trends for spring 2016.
Every year there’s that one make up trend that gets everyone on board (cue in: cat eyeliner), and this years spring colors are nothing short of exciting. Hues of blue, vibrant & bold lips, and peachy pastels graced the runway last fall to show us not to shy away from colors (which I need some practice in) and to experiment with different shades. Below you will find our favorite make up trends that we will be sure to play around with throughout the next couple of months & where you can find some of our favorites.

Cobalt eye liner, eye shadow, and mascaras have all made strong statements this year, and are no longer just made for those with brown eyes. Hues of blue ranging from turquoise to navy have been setting up the stage for the perfect smokey eye, too. And even if you feel like you’re not ‘gutsy’ enough to dive into cobalt, there’s always a shade that you can ease yourself into before becoming perfectly comfortable.

I don’t know about the rest of you, but lipstick in our world does all the talking. This trend has been in our lives since we were kids, but venturing out to deep purples is something I personally don’t have much experience in. Oxblood has even stuck around since fall, and bright shades of crimson, peach, and orange are all the rage this year.

This trend is probably my favorite, as I am all about natural looking make up that still has a story to tell. Pastels are always the go-to in spring, but there has been an emphasis on ‘all peach everything’. Peach eye shadow, cheeks, and lips are the perfect balance to give you a summer-like glow without transitioning fully into summer.
