FIVE THINGS

Christian Louboutin’s array of men’s shoes at Dubai Mall was killer. It’s so easy to find five things that I’m absolutely loving or making me happy during my stay in the Middle East.

The official first day of summer came yesterday, and I have a feeling things will be getting a little bit brighter & sweeter around here. I am absolutely loving life right now and really cannot complain at all. To be quite honest, I haven’t been this happy in a while. My days consist of sleeping all day and staying up all night, playing cards with my family until the wee hours of the morning. I’ve also gotten to go check out new and happening areas around town! Indulging in sweet treats and eating some of my favorite foods is something that has also been making me a lot happier lately. Gosh, I hope time doesn’t go by too fast – I hope Summer 2016 never has to end. Sharing some of my happiness below:

Fruits are all the sweeter in the Middle East. This peach tree is right around the corner from our house.

Daily evening walks give me the pleasure of seeing precious + vibrant blooms like this one. 

My favorite traditional Middle Eastern sandwich called ‘shawerma’ has all the chicken, pickles, + garlic rolled into doughy goodness.
