I can speak for myself when I say I just can’t say no to pom poms. We first saw them emerge merely TWO years ago at Tanya Taylor’s Fall 2014 runway show, and since then, they have skyrocketed amongst consumers. Of course, the go to place that most would see this is accessory is probably on a straw beach bag that you would only use on your trips to the beach… BUT you can channel this South American influential fiesta-style accessory on anything from shoes, to belts, to hats. Pom poms on your body gives you an instant bohemian, tribal-vibe, but with its exuberant color schemes it provides you with a chic, girlie-twist. Tassles and fringe also compliment this accessory extremely well, so don’t be afraid to blend all of these elements into one whole look. It’s summertime, so go big or go home.
