FALL SHOE TRENDS

We’re loving the hottest shoe styles for fall. Check out our curated list.

This fall, I forecasted so many trend-savvy silhouettes and styles when it came to kicks for the season, and it seems like the key is all in the details when it comes to pairing your feet. Subtle is so out, and va-va-voom is the aim. Statement-makers are what every girl needs in her closet this season, casual or dressy, because that is what’s going to act as your bold pop to your ensembles.

Floral booties offer a femininely chic appeal to your looks without being premature and girly. Whether it be brushstroke, embroidered, textured or printed, they’ll elevate your outfits with its empowering design and use of multicolor. It’s best to opt for an ankle length silhouette that’s featured in any toe shape. Check out Sam Edelman’s collection of floral booties. They’re fabulous + totally affordable.

Who would have thought that this menswear-inspired style would be all the rage for Fall 2016? With its masculine construction, designers have executed this silhouette with feminine details such as metal hardware, pearls, tassels, and so much more to make it relatable for the high-fashion consumers. Its classic appeal usually features at least a one-inch heel, but we’re embracing this style with new, whimsical outlooks that enhance and offer a little more of a boost with higher heel heights and even lower – slides (which just so happens to be the slip-on of the season) have been seen on runways to even lower-value retailers.

The trend of the ’90s is back in a larger-than-life way. Luxurious and sleek, velvet boots will elevate your looks in a stylish minute. There’s no discrimination towards color and style either – a multitude of unique shapes and sizes can sculpt your outfits in an immense way. Classic velvet can now be found in all of the colors of the rainbow, and the use of sumptuous, crushed textures gives it a dimensional feel that’s appealing to the eye, whether it’s executed in thigh highs or shorties.

Fur is not just for your nighttime coats or stoles anymore. A trend that one will never grow tired of, it can immediately sophisticate your style with its feather-like look and feel. The market has gotten creative with crafting it in casual slides, edgy boots and even going as far as dying multicolor in their fur. With an optimal amount of fabrics such as shearling, feathers, faux and real fur, it’ll be extremely hard to stray your eyes away from your feet. Tuck your toes away in plush comfort that exudes high-fashion fuel.
