Perfect Sunday

I am a huge Food Network fan.
About 2 weeks ago, I watched the Barefoot Contessa
make Oatmeal Maple scones for her husband-
they looked to die for.
After stumbling across one of my favorite blogs
last week, I saw that Emily had made the same
exact scones as the Barefoot Contessa had made about two weeks ago.
Of course, I took this as a sign & tackled the scones by the horns
with a close friend, Nina. You know, just to make sure
they were as good as they looked on TV.

They were absolutely amazing,
and I’m not even a huge fan of scones!
To go along with them, we decided to mix the fall-time scones
with a nice summer drink {Cherry Lemonade}
so we can feel the transition of the seasons!
