DARK EYE LOOK
The simplest way to accomplish dark eyes with just a few tools.
YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE A MAKEUP ARTIST TO HAVE A BEAT FACE
Has anyone ever heard of the phrase ‘beat face’ as far as makeup goes? Well, I recently learned that when your face is ‘beat’ that simply means that your face looks absolutely flawless/stunning/powerful with all of the makeup that’s been applied to it. If you’ve been up to date on your social media outlets, it’s easy to see that people all across the world have been flooding your feeds with makeup tutorials – and the amount of videos, reviews, etc. on products have been growing exponentially by the day.
Me being a 9 – 5 working gal, I’m not always able to ‘beat my face up’. I put on the basics {bronzer, blush, lipstick} and I’m out the door in the mornings. & not to mention, having eyelash extensions done by The Beauty Loft here in Charlotte has cut my makeup time in half (no more stroking my lashes with thick black mascara fifty times each!) So I’ve opted on a simple way to create a dark eye, with still looking beat AF. Whether you’re having a lazy day and don’t feel like caking foundation and contour on your face, or if you just don’t have the money to spend on your favorite $25 Marc Jacobs eyeliner, this solution is just right for you.
*Get yourself a really great smoky eye palette when wanting to create a dark look. Mine and Dania’s personal favorite?
The Naked Smoky Eye Palette.
*I took my favorite dark, shimmery shades of eye shadow and spread it on the my inner bottom lids. Then, I took a shimmering cream color with a hint of gold sheen and spread it from the crease down for a luminous appeal.

This simplistic look was me merely on-the-go one weekend, and not having time to shower meant spraying my favorite dry shampoo in my hair and throwing on a top knot. I dabbled my face in some illuminating highlighter and I was good to go!
