My new favorite holiday treat that blends savory and sweet.

Now, everyone who knows me knows that hanging out in the kitchen is just not my forte, but when I find a delicious delectable that’s easy to make, just go ahead and throw me my apron. My sweet tooth has been at an all time high as of late, and I’m sure it’s due to all of the holiday spirit and the sweet aromas that fill the city around this time of year. So, for my work holiday party, I decided to challenge myself in stepping up to the plate to create one of my favorite desserts to make. This melt in your mouth treat is sweet and oh-so simple, plus you’d never guess its concoction. It’s crispy crunch and saccharine taste will go beyond just satisfying your taste buds. The original recipe calls for chocolate chips and pecans, but I decided to get into festive mode and created a holiday-friendly treat that’s just right for the occasion. Whether your poison is white chocolate, peanut butter or chocolate chips, there are a plethora of unique ways to make this treat that will have you weak in the knees.
