MOUNTAIN WEEKEND

Last weekend was my first trip to the mountains in several years. I found myself having a hard time trying to decide what to pack when I was preparing for my trip. Although I knew that we were going to stay in the cabin majority of the time, and also that it was going to be extremely cold, I still wanted to infuse some of today’s trends in my look and maintain chic. A friend of mine told me that it’s important to be “lumberjack chic” when going to the mountains… and now it’s a reoccurring joke between us. Pretty much what lumberjack chic means is playing in plaids and utilizing oversized accessories like chunky scarves, big pom pom hats, and glittery mittens. Oh, and it’s always important to have a great coat (the one I’m wearing was fabulous because it was a reversible and faux fur). If you’re going to the mountains anytime soon… keep these wise words with you. xoxo
