Once I got engaged, I sped on over to Anthropologie to make sure that I registered for my favorite things for my new home. Now that we have been settled in, I thought I’d share some of my top favorite pieces that have not only added staples to my home but also have contributed to it’s uniqueness. When decorating, I aimed for a modern look (through furniture, bedding, etc.) but these french countryside items have really merged two different styles of decorating that I love. I’m in love with Voluspa and this scent is one of my top favorites because of the hint of lavender. This is a perfect gift as well– I bought one for my mother-in-law and she lights it every day.

The first time I saw these nature dessert plates, I was really skeptical. I started to think, “Is it weird that food will be on these plates that have bugs on them?” but once I paired them with the dinner plates, I started to see the whimsical idea that Anthropologie was going for. This is the most complimented place setting that I have. I also own the chameleon, hummingbird, & crane plates.

I love, love, LOVE these mugs (Lea Michele also has them). I drink my coffee in them every morning, and I love how each one of them has a different phrase. From the same designer, the measuring cups and tablespoons which I frequently use (as you can imagine) for my baking.

While we are on the subject of baking, I recently realized that I had been constantly using the same utensils to measure wet and dry ingredients. This stackable measuring cup turns into the shape of a milk carton and is perfect for measuring out wet ingredients.

These two are on the much much pricey-er side, but can you blame them? They rest perfectly on top of our bar cart (which I didn’t completely picture since it’s not finished).

SHOP POST: John Robshaw Claridge Shower Curtain

I think I’m in that stage of life where I will no longer be buying shower curtains from anywhere other than Anthropologie. They are made out of cotton, so they cover nicely and feel as if they are worth the amount their cost. I love this one because it complements my neutral bathroom, but here is another one that will do the trick as well.

SHOP POST: Handpainted Wanderlust Globe

This was a special gift given to me by my cousins who traveled from Jordan to attend my wedding (and it was their first time in America). I know that the globe doesn’t educate too much on cities, but the symbolism behind it means much more. Looks like they are out on their website, but here is an Etsy shop that has it, too!
