The first day of spring is toying with our emotions.

One of our favorite areas in Charlotte is the Phillips Place shopping mall. Some of our go-to food and clothing stops are tucked away in the side streets, and it is the perfect place to grab some coffee and window shop through the stores. While today may be the first day of spring, our only indication of it in the Carolina’s is the excessive pollen. It’s been quite chilly here lately, but the skies are cloud-free and filled with lots of sunshine.

I’ve been trying my hardest to set personal goals for myself. I do the best that I can to make it out every morning to smell some fresh air and really embrace the area I live in. It’s been so exciting for me too as some of my favorite places from Charleston have migrated over to Charlotte (like my favorite sushi restaurant), and I was over the moon when Free People opened just walking distance from my house.

My eyes lit up when I saw this Bold Love kimono. The contrast of color and the hint of glam really spoke to me, and it’s been the perfect piece to dress up any outfit.
