I recently had a discussion with a friend about how heels have slowly transitioned out of our weekend rotation. I love a great pump for a 9-to-5 office work day, but come 5:30pm Friday and all the way through Sunday, I love slipping into a great flat. Whether it’s a sneaker, gladiator sandal or a simple slide, flats have become a fabulous alternative for keeping it chic while maintaining pure comfort. Slack and blazer combinations can maintain their sophistication by pairing them with an embellished loafer, and denim on denim looks can easily be enhanced by an immaculate oxford.
