Last night hosted the 2013 MTV Movie Awards, which happens to be a comedic awards show, and a more laid back one for that matter. We got to see some of our favorite jokesters in Hollywood and some of our youngest actors as well. I was very surprised to see that they were hosting the awards show in April, as it is usually played in June. I also was kind of disappointed in the show, as it looked like it was poorly planned and it definitely wasn’t as funny or exciting as it usually is.
But As always, the red carpet was on fire when the hottest celebrities stepped onto it in the most fabulous outfits. Here is my best dressed list from the Movie Awards!
Zoe Saldana in Givenchy and Jimmy Choo Kalpa pumps. This was the perfect look for her petite-frame and I love this mix and match of patterns designed in the skirt. The photo doesn’t show it, but there were sheer white polka dots stitched in the skirt along with the floral pattern. She definitely gave off a sleek yet stylish look.
Selena Gomez sparkled in a golden fringed Julien Macdonald mini dress. This was a great look for the young actress/singer and the hair was definitely unique and made the entirety of this look more youthful. The glittery and sparkly looks are always well worn by this young lady.
Brittany Snow in Lela Rose. The navy blue was a great choice for the blonde bombshell and I loved the embezzled shoulder pads on this mini dress. The ruching in the mid center of her dress made such a flattering look for the already petite actress.
Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi wowed everyone in this golden embellished gown by an unknown designer. It was very surprising to see her in something elegant like this when we usually see her in mini dresses and skirts. She kept it classy and it was absolute perfection. Her hair was styled perfectly.
Kerry Washington surprising us yet again in this oh so fashionable Michael Kors
high low gown. She never ceases to amaze me on the red carpet because each time she dresses for an event it gets better and better. Her sense of style is impeccable and appropriate, showing her keen eye for trends. The gown was curve-hugging in the right areas and the golden train was fabulous.
