A GALENTINE’S DAY PARTY
This one’s for the girls.
While we love having romantic rendezvous with our significant others, one of our favorite things to do in the month of February is to reserve some special time for our gals. We spent our entire day eating, drinking, and laughing together as we told stories from college while painting our nails at our personalized nail bar. It was so much fun coming up with ideas for this party because it really allowed us to get creative and show our love and appreciation for our favorite ladies.
We designed our set-up with all things metallic, bubbly and colorful to create a fun aesthetic. From quirky banners to the perfect backdrop for photos, to even silly tableware. We designated each part of the room to a fun activity or a simple bubbly bar and customized each station with a creative hand-drawn card.
The food consisted of an array of bite-sized treats like miniature chicken ‘n waffles (made with Chick-fil-A nuggets and cinnamon Eggos), and a full spread for chocolate fondue. Conversation cookies accompanied our tablescape, adding the perfect amount of ‘Valentine’s Day’ to our Galentine’s Day event.
(“No Boys Allowed” banner, streamers, candy heart balloons and #GALS balloon are all from Target).
Basic Invite was the perfect platform in creating our Galentine’s Day invitations. With the vision I had in mind, it was simple to bring my idea to life thanks to the easy tools available on their website. From shimmering card stock to a variety of unique fonts, I got carried away with creating different options and even had a hard time deciding on one!
They have a so many versatile card options (wedding invites, stationary, thank you cards, etc.) making this our new go-to invitation website for any occasion.
This post is sponsored by Basic Invite, but as always, all views our our own.
