BEST DRESSED: 2013 GOLDEN GLOBE AWARDS

Here are my favorites from the night! 

Jessica Alba in Oscar de la Renta

The actress looked so elegant in this vibrant shade of orange gown. The diamond necklace was a beautiful touch and I loved that she wore the same lip color as her dress. I’m usually opposed of the same shade of lip as the dress but it went so well with her glowing skin. The hair was vintage perfect and she definitely wowed me on the carpet! 

Nicole Kidman in Alexander McQueen

I was shockingly surprised when I saw Nicole enter onto the carpet. I am usually not a fan of her choice of dress but I think this was a fantastic and very fashionable choice for her. The detailing of this dress was amazing and black was a great change for her. 

Emily Blunt in Michael Kors

I absolutely LOVED Emily in MK. The beautiful gold color and detailing was beyond amazing and I love the uniqueness of the slits showing her bare midriff. The fuchsia earrings, clutch, and hair pulled up were all great choices in completing this A+ look. 

Kate Hudson in Alexander McQueen

This is by far one of the best dresses I’ve seen on Kate Hudson. She looked so sleek in this McQueen dress. I love the black color because it’s sexy and the open chest was not too much. The gold pieces were fabulous and her very natural looking hair down made this look whole. One of my favorite choices of the night!

Julianne Hough in Monique Lhuiller

I love the pattern that Julianne is going with for awards shows. We definitely can tell that she loves sparkly and eye-popping gowns. I love how she made this dress not so “pretty” by having a bad-ass hairdo and smokey eye look. I also love how the gold sparkles trickle down the dress. She was fierce!

Lea Michele in Elie Saab

This one was another top favorite for me. The dress and color was phenomenal on Lea Michele. It was sexy but classy at the same time. Her hair was flawless and the emerald green earrings were a stand out for this look. She may have tanned a little too hard for the look, but I still thinks he was beautiful! 

Anne Hathaway in Chanel

This was a lovely choice for the thin actress. It was very simple yet elegant and I truly think she has an amazing sense of style. After seeing her at many award shows, I really love that she knows what looks good on her as far as silhouette and her fashionable taste. 

Isla Fisher in Reem Acra

Isla wasn’t really noticed at the GG’s, but I thought she looked effortlessly beautiful in this piece. I loved the taupe color and the plum lip color. The details were fabulous and the hair was very nicely done for her look. 

Nicole Richie in Naeem Khan

My other absolute favorite – the fashion star rocked in this beautiful blue long sleeved lace gown. She couldn’t have picked a better choice for her petite frame. Her hair was lovely and her blue eye shadow was actually perfect touch. I love how she rocked her own design on the carpet – wearing a fringy House of Harlow 1960 clutch to add. I LOVED this look!
