BEST DRESSED: 2014 ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS

My Best Dressed list for the
2014 American Country Music Awards
is a very small one [surprisingly].

I always find this awards show to probably be the least fashionable of them all.
Every year, country stars all around put on dresses and outfits
that they think are so chic, when in reality, it’s a HUGE bust.
I’m not sure why the people in this genre of music struggle in the fashion department
harder than the others, but nevertheless, the people that actually rock it on the carpet,
really do an impeccable job.
Here is my Best Dressed List:

Kimberly Perry looked magnificent in an all black and nude Georges Hobeika gown. The design of this dress was flattering and accentuated every bit of her curves in a spectacular way. The messy up-do was a great touch and made her dress be the sole spot light of the entire look.

I always believe that when a new star is on the rise and is invited to an event as big as an awards show, she has to wear something that is going to make all heads turn. Danielle Bradbery did it right by wearing a gorgeous embellished Jovani gown with draped chiffon. It was flawless perfection, from the hair, accessories, and makeup.

Carrie Underwood stuck to her roots by wearing something dazzling, this time in Oscar de la Renta. Although wearing something glitzy and glamorous is very normal for the star, I love how this dress actually looked much different than what she would normally put on. The fringe embellishments was such a great detail to the gown, bringing in 2014s latest trends in a tasteful way to the red carpet.

Taylor Swift in J.Mendel was my absolute favorite of the night. It was such a surprise to see her in something subtle yet so marvelous and sexy at the same time. T.Swift usually comes out with a bang in a gorgeous sequined mini dress or floor-length glittered gown, so this was definitely refreshing. The slide slit accentuated her mile long legs & I love how she styled her new hair cut. Absolutely stunning!

Faith Hill finally amazed me in a beautiful robin’s egg colored Saint Laurent gown. This was such a classy and mature look that really fit the thin, legendary country star. The structured sleeves and low v-neck was modest and just the right amount of mature and sexy. The smoky eye and almost messy hairdo made this very classy look a bit more fun.
