I love checking out all of the fashions at every awards show, but I have a different love for the Teen Choice Awards. It’s not so dramatic, but still very chic and edgy. We get to see some of our favorite teen A-listers shine on the red carpet in their hip yet very couture ensembles.
Check out my best dressed list:
Chloe Grace Moretz was perfection in head to toe Valentino. She was on-trend, age appropriate and cutting edge in this print-vibrant ensemble. The rich, deep color palette is a stand out plus each separate piece is great for transitioning into the Fall season. Fantastic red carpet style!
Kendall Jenner in Oriett Domenech was perfect for her complexion, and her model-esque figure. The piece itself is such a stand out, so I loved how she toned it down with her slick-back straight hair and soft, subtle make over. For her height, I believe that the white was a really clever way to go because it makes such a statement on such a tall, young women as herself.
Nina Dobrev in Vionnet was one of my favorite looks by far. I loved the two piece crop top and short combination plus the killer hot pink pumps, but I think the entirety of this look was made by the color scheme and eccentric print. These bright hues really complimented her beautiful bronze skin tone and the side braid was easy and not so over the top.
I’ve come to the conclusion that Selena Gomez can do no wrong as far as street style and red carpet style. She is constantly slaying on the red carpet in daring, fashion-forward looks. I love this all sleek black tuxedo jumpsuit by Saint Laurent because it portrays a different Selena – as a young starlet, I think this is the right move to transition in fashion so people can view her as a more serious artist. The clean lines of this look definitely gives off that memo and I believe she’ll truly be an icon in the fashion industry.

Shay Mitchell channeling her inner Kim Kardashian in this Misha Collection cropped top and skirt combination. If this look looks familiar, Kim K. wore an extremely similar look by Ermanno Scervino to her birthday bash back in October. A lot of people are playing the ‘who wore it better’ game, and I think both ladies looked great… but I have to ultimately give it to Shay. I love the subtle braid and pop of deep plum on her pout, giving this all white look a hint of color. She looked so fabulous!
Taylor Swift killing it in yet another crop top and skirt combination by Novis. Just when you think it is yet another girly look by another girly artist, you notice the edgy detailing on the side of the skirt and completely change your mind. Just a little extra detail goes a long way, and I think that’s what made this look. The chic pop of golden yellow sandals was a surprisingly unexpected add on, which was great.
I agree with you! Their outfits are so cool!
By the way, I just nominated you for The Liebster Award – check out my blog for more info!
