Betch to Hate: Kim Kardashian

Its been a while since I did one of my signature “Betch” posts.
So I thought today was the perfect day to do so.
My 3rd “Betch to Hate” post is dedicated to
one of the most famous faces in the media right now.

Kim Kardashian….
You see her every where.
On television, on the internet, on social media sites, and in the tabloids.
For some reason, it seems like the papz’ main goal in life is to get the latest snap shot
of her doing her day-to-day activities or just to follow and taunt her and her beau, Kanye West.

I have to admit, I am guilty of once loving this chick back in the day.
I think it was because I thought we had so much in common –
the dark hair, dark features, olive skin, cultural background, and love for fashion
made me instantly think I was almost close enough to be her sister.
But as the years went by I realized,

I was so far from right.

As she rose higher and higher to fame, her head has gotten quite as large as our earth’s hemisphere.
Not to mention the way she got famous: It’s such a disgrace to see someone take pride in the person they have become when their ticket to celebrity status was because of a scandal.
(ahem, you know what I’m talking about…)

Nevertheless, there are plenty of things I applaud her for at the same time.
The main thing being her sense of style.
Yes, I know she may wear some bizarre things sometimes that is truly unflattering to her vivacious figure, but the risk of the look is what is important. I absolutely disapproved of some of the things she walked out in when she was 6 months pregnant with her daughter, but what the hell? She did what she wanted and didn’t give a damn. In my honest opinion, I can definitely say that she is not the most fashionable Kardashian sista’ (Kourtney wins by far!) But this post is about a fashionable BETCH: someone that I dislike, but think has a great sense of style.

So to make her an eligible candidate for being a BETCH,
we have to weigh our pros & cons:

Points of Hatred:

1. Fame Whore
2. Always gets mad about people being in her and her family’s business,
but then is an open book on television.
3. Rebounded from football star Reggie Bush to basketball player Kris Humphries which
ended in a 72 day marriage (talk about a cry for desperation)
4.  Thinks she’s hot sh*t and flaunts her goodies;
which makes people question her ability to be a role model for her child
5. Self absorbed and too cocky

Points of Interest:

1. Has made great connections & friendships with many iconic designers
2. She has her fiancé dressing her, which she gets a lot of criticism about
BUT still doesn’t care if people don’t like what she wears
3. Takes fashion risks pregnant/not pregnant
4. Always on a business venture
5. Her cultural background makes her more open to others and their views

And now, here are some of my favorite looks that the beautiful betch has appeared in:
