Betch to Hate: Miley Cyrus

Today marks the second post dedicated to another vexatious, wanna-be-hard-ass yet ridiculously fashionable BETCH that I cannot stand, but adore her style.
Ms. Miley Cyrus (or Mrs. depending on the day since her relationship with Hottie Hemsworth is apparently spiraling downward…) has been in the tabloids starting at the mere age of 11 when the Hannah Montana phenomenon began. She went from sweet and innocent to racy and raunchy in the blink of an eye. The purpose of this 180 transition was for people to get it out of their minds that the Hannah Montana lifestyle and image wasn’t her true image. So she spread her wings.
In the March 2013 issue of Cosmopolitan Magazine, Miley was quoted saying:
“I never played the Disney game of smiling and being a princess”
OK Miley, that’s great and fantastic. But may I just add that
 a). No one asked you to try out for the role of Hannah Montana,
 b). That is kind of a given requirement when you sign a contract with DISNEY,
and c). No one told you to be a Princess?
Although I completely disagree with her actions and beliefs, this betch chick has some killer style. Whether it be on the red carpet or even walking thru the streets of LA, she always has something put together. It can be funky, stylish, or even loungey in distressed jeans and cut off tee with a grande Starbucks latte in hand. She is quite a trendsetter in my personal opinion.
So let’s take a gander at our Points of Hatred:
1. Strived way too hard to escape the “Hannah Montana” image out of people’s minds
{ie., “I Can’t Be Tamed,” “We Can’t Stop”}
2. Engaged to Aussie hottie Liam Hemsworth *sighs*
3. Cut her precious locks into a kind-of-psychotic hairdo then dyed it bleacher than an egg white
4. Set a bad image for young fans a numerous amount of times
5. Betch gal has an awful singing voice…
 then we have the Points of Interest:
1. Doesn’t give a sweet niblet about what people think of her style or personality
2. Takes bold risks as far as her image (the psychotic hairdo I hate, but applaud her for the risk)
3. Can rock a jumpsuit like no other
4. Reps big names on & off the red carpet –
{quote from the March ’13 Cosmo issue: “I can’t leave home without Chanel}
5. Knows what works best for her slim & slender body type while always maintaining youthful
And now, the proof of this betch’s unbelievable fashion sense

and then we have the cover shoots and editorial spreads…

Let me just say – the whole Prestige Magazine editorial spread on this chick was hard core chic. I loved every photo that she was featured in this 2012 spread and every garment that touched her body. The location, accessories, and clothing used in this was to die for.

  1. Her style is indeed great and I don´t completely agree on her lifestyle either but what I didn´t understand was when everybody was shocked because she dressed too sexily but come on, there are a lot of girls starting to dress like sluts in a waaaaay younger age without having her as a role model and why shouldn´t she have the fun we all want when we were young? 😉

  2. I agree with you, I can't handle her as a person. The whole "leave me alone, evil paparazzi" paired with a bagillion selfies and walking around in popular places half naked annoy me beyond belief. I do like her style, but I think post chopping her hair it has kinda gone down hill. In my opinion, her prime was in her rocker/ boho phase. Now, she just takes it too far mostly
