CAFE GANACHE: KRONUTS ON WHEELS
We literally can’t get enough of Cafe Ganache’s kronuts, & now they will be the star of the first ever kronut Food Truck in the nation.
We cannot contain our excitement. The first time we ever tried Cafe Ganache was back in October in the middle of South Park Mall at a kiosk. The pumpkin pie kronut caught my eye which began my love affair with Chef Abdallah’s creations. For those of you who don’t know what a kronut is, it’s like the baby of a croissant and a doughnut. A baked good that has the both the sweetness and flakiness of a croissant, but the savory taste and crisp edges of a doughnut.
I found myself either going to the mall just to get a kronut, or making it a point to pick something up on my way out. When Aya & I got invited to Cafe Ganache’s kronut tasting, we knew we were in for a sugary evening, but we were not expecting such wonderful news to be attached. In the next few months, Cafe Ganache will not only be accessible at the mall, but also at the nation’s first ever kronut food truck.
Below you will find a ‘BTS’ look at our tasting and what this delicious new food truck will have to offer. Including: a cinnamon sugar kronut with hot chocolate dipping sauce, an apple pie filled kronut, and a chocolate iced kronut with irish cream.
