BEST DRESSED: 2014 CANNES FILM FESTIVAL

I love the Cannes Film Festival that takes place every year. Probably because I’ve always wanted to go to the South of France and I know I probably will never make it over there (here’s to wishing). But I also love seeing the fantastic looks of all of the A-List celebrities that attend it. There is some sort of va-va-voom that makes its way on the red carpet that you don’t get to see at all of the other awards show. I feel like it’s a good mix between the styles you see at the MET Gala and the Oscars – not too crazy, but not too sophisticated… I would probably define it as edgy glamour.

As always, my favorites were the looks of Cate Blanchett and Blake Lively: two of my favorite style icons. They walk the red carpet with such grace, and they are always wearing cutting edge gowns that you don’t ever see. Another woman that I thought looked very elegant & chic was Nicole Kidman. Like clockwork, she rocked the red carpet just like she did at Cannes last year. I believe this time of year every year is when we see Kidman look the best.
