Fashionable Friday
Happy Fashion Friday ladies and gents!
I’m pretty sure I say this every Friday but thank God this week is over with.
I didn’t have the best week so it’s great to say that it is dead and gone like the wind!
My week consisted of classes and work, so it wasn’t fun to say the least.
The good thing about it was that I did a lot of shopping… online and in-store!
So more outfit posts to come in the next couple of weeks 🙂
As for now… here is a weekly dose of fashionable photos that I find timeless and very interesting to look at… So enjoy! I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!

I absolutely adore this outfit. It has inspired me to recreate it and find similar pieces so I can make it an outfit of my own! I’m in love with patterned pants or pants with any type of design on them, and to me the more color the better. I love these tropical pants because you can just pair it with a a simple black blouse and I love the white blazer on top. It is an effortless look that is super chic. I Cannot wait for Spring to rock a similar look like this one!

Some of you may already know from reading my blog but I am obsessed with accessories.
I rarely think an outfit can be over-accessorized and I always think the more the better.
A simple black tee and jeans can be glamorized just by adding some eccentric accessories here
and there, like in the photo above. I love all of the gold arm candy and excessive rings,
it definitely makes the look!

Aside from loving patterned pants, I also love a good patterned blouse. The first photo is an editorial shot of a model wearing a very loud loose button down with skinny pants along with some fun polka dot mary jane-looking heels. This season, it’s all about mixing different patterns and prints and wearing them together! I’m sure trend forecasters here and there spotted this one a while ago, but I never would have thought this could be such a fashion hit! I really want to incorporate more of this trend into my wardrobe for Spring, and thankfully, I can with the help of my part-time job at VanJean.

The second photo is a mannequin that was styled at the boutique I work at, and I am loving the mix of prints. It is the Shirred Cami and Cuffed pant by Tucker along with a fun DANNIJO necklace. I may have to take this one off the mannequin and buy it for myself!

Kimora Lee Simmons is a stand-out mogul in the fashion world. I really do believe that any woman should consider this every day before they get up out of bed and get dressed as they head out for the day. Whether it’s running errands, going out to dinner with friends, or traveling on a 12 hour flight out of the country, you should make others become attracted to what you’re wearing. Be creative in styling your outfits and your creativity will shine through your clothes. Stand out in a crowd and own what you’re wearing! I love to live by advice like this.

This is a professional shot from one of John Galliano’s runway collection. The colors and designs that he incorporated into this look reminds me of the history of ancient countries like Greece or Egypt. The look is more modernized and I love the details like the gold trimming and statement chained-belt. You can’t really see it in the picture, but the model is wearing black tie-up sandals, which I think is amazing for this whole creation. Galliano always amazes on the runway!
