Fashionable Friday

Happy Friday, Fashion Dolls!
Every Friday I get all giddy because of the weekend, but today is an extremely SPECIAL Friday for me because it marks the last Friday of Fall semester classes EVER!
It is crazy to think that I’ll be graduating this May (iA) and that I just completed my last Fall semester ever… it’s really bittersweet but I’m ready for Spring semester to come!
But let’s not jump all the way down the road… here are some inspirational photos for today!

This is a photo of fashion blogger KT Reed posed in a vibrant street style look in New York City.
I love her risqué and fun hot pink tutu choice and the way she paired it off
with leopard print pumps. The bun adds a ballerina-esque look and
the butterfly framed sunglasses just screams ‘chic!’
This is definitely a look I would SO try
 (if I didn’t live in such a closed-minded state).

How amazing is this chic and snuggly winter over-accessorized look? I love the leather ‘texting gloves’ and the rockin’ studs on the bands of it. The colors of the Celine clutch make the look stand out. If only it got cold in SC I would totally rock a look like this. I’m so jealous of everyone that gets to wear their fur coats! But it’s never too late for our weather to get a little chilly…

I have a serious obsession with Australian model (VS model!) Miranda Kerr. This editorial-looking shot was taken by Eric Guillemain specifically for Sunday’s New York Times Style.  In my own opinion, I think she looks great in ANYTHING she puts on. But I absolutely love this photo because it is simple yet so stylish at the same time. The mirrored pieces collected on her dress and those fabulous shoes are perfection… I like how Guillemain added a black barstool for her to sit on to not make this photo so in your face. It is a spectacular outfit and great photograph of Mrs. Bloom!

Who better to take fashion advice from the one and only, Coco Chanel? I adore this quote because I love dressing up wherever I go, and maybe that is the inner-fashionista in me, but even when I was a little girl I couldn’t leave the house without wearing a little something that screamed fabulous. Girls have so many advantages over boys… we get the options of wearing pretty makeup, sequins and glitter anytime we want, so why not embrace our advantages? 😉

This beautiful gown is from Bibhu Mohapatra’s Spring ’13 collection during New York Fashion Week 2012. I love this gown because it is a multi-seasonal dress. It isn’t best worn in a certain type of season it can be worn in any. I love the beautiful silver lining and details all over the gown and the flowy train. It is an elegant and beautiful piece to attend a wedding in or to even wear it as your own dress to wed!
Stay fabulous over the weekend, beauties!
