On the July 2013 issue of the world’s go-to fashion bible, singer/superstar Katy Perry finally decided to grace us with her unbelievably breathtaking presence for the first time on the VOGUE Magazine cover. Photographer Anne Leibovitz captured the nine time grammy award winner in a gracious, fairy-tale like way in a five page spread that will leave your eyes wanting more of this beauty.
On the cover, Perry wore a floral masterpiece from the Fall 2013 Rodarte collection, and continued to be photographed in other glorious floral embedded gowns in enchanting colors like red and black, almost portraying a modern Snow White with her fair skin and long, sleek black hair while intermixing old Hollywood Glamour with her beautiful curls and romantic red lip color.
Photos for the editorial spread were taken at a barn yard in Red Hook, New York – which may not be the ideal location for a glamorous magazine photo shoot but in the end turned out to be absolute perfection. In this photo she is shot posing in a Michael Kors custom bustier and skirt.

Blumarine dress… yet again looking fairly similar to Disney princess Belle from Beauty and the
Beast.
In this photo, the California girl is keeping it relaxed in a shoulder bearing black wool Prada sweater, red leather skirt, belt, and simple black Repetto flats.
My favorite photograph in the entire spread – looking vintage fabulous in a Dolce Gabbana gown and cream Denim & Supply Ralph Lauren blouse and for the whole farmer-chic effect, a Patricia Underwood straw hat.
And lastly, chickens never looked so good next to Katy Perry in a Valentino Haute Couture floral lace dress. The sheer embellished sleeves and the powerful neckline suited her so well in this epic shot.
After looking at all of these fantastic photos, I cannot wait to get my hands on the July issue! I’m looking forward to reading behind the scenes moments and gaining a little insight into her mysterious life. In the issue she talks about her past relationships and how she is becoming more independent… which every young girl should aspire to be.
