MBNYFW: BCBG MAX AZRIA Spring ’13 Recap
Hello my fashion dolls – these few last weeks has been absolutely NUTS in the world of fashion – everyone knows what week it was (unless you’ve been hiding under a rock) and I am so sad that Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week has come to a close *tears*. But the good news is, Milan Fashion Week is occurring right now!
I have been so unbelievably busy with school and work that I haven’t had much time to watch all the shows I wanted, but I am now catching on up!
SO many things to say about the Spring 2013 collection of BCBG MAXAZRIA.
It was ABSOLUTELY.FANTASTIC.
Where do I even begin? I was crazy in love with this show – mostly everything about it. The models, the music, the shoes, and of COURSE the collection. Mr. Azria incorporated lots of lace detailing, sheer, and leather looks. It was so hard to choose a select few looks to post up on my blog because I loved almost EVERY piece, but just in case you fashion fanatics were too busy to check it out, here is a little taste of what the show was all about!
These models were bringing it as I was seeing a masculine-inspired look translate into a hint of femininity. I was crazy for the sheer linings and jumpsuits jubilee! While actual watching the runway show on live stream, I couldn’t help thinking “I love that one, and that one, ooh, and that one…” over and over again. This was very different from the Spring ’12 collection. I loved how he focused on patterning and subtle colors for upcoming Spring and how similar the tops of his looks looked like shields of armor! Definitely brings a unique look to the runway.
